Apartment in Salerno

Salerno, Italy  2012-2013

The apartment originally had a small long corridor that reached a room with full view of the sea. The building has a reinforced concrete structure that allowed us to demolish all the interior partitions. With this change, the whole apartment has access to some exterior light and gives the feeling of a luminous, larger space. The service spaces (bathrooms, laundry and cabinets) have been located into the center of the apartment, leaving free all the perimeter space. The bedrooms have sliding doors that can be open or closed according to the need of the occupants.
