Legoled modular lighting system

Legoled modular lighting system

Milano, Italy  2006

The properties of LED lighting are ideal to realize a waterproof and shock resistant lighting system. It is made with 3 points of light located inside a silicon brick. (LED lights need little electric energy to produce high voltage white light with low temperature.) The Legoled can be assembled in different ways, leaving the users with the opportunity to choose. The system can include a colored no-lighting element that contains a rechargeable battery, light intensity control and the capacity to turn the lamp on and off. The shapes, color and materials are a mix between 60-70 Italian design and contemporary hi-tech. Several prototypes have been realized in partnership with Cross Point, to be shown at “Milano nel Fuori Salone” in 2006.
