Residence in Pistoia
Residence in Pistoia
Pistoia, Italy 2014
The small residential building in Pistoia’s center was reconstructed after World War II. The latest intervention was made to adapt it to anti-seismic regulations and to improve its living space. Some of the structural walls were rebuilt or modified, giving the opportunity to treat the surface of these walls in a different way from the rest of the house. The restored walls appear as a sort of “rewriting” of the history of the building.
